Expert support for Independent and Interstate school leaders navigating the complexities of remote and regional education.
Modern school leadership is defined by systemic complexity, high-stakes staff culture, and the unique isolation of regional or independent contexts. Without dedicated professional support, the "heavy lift" of operational demands often leads to reactive decision-making and diminished personal sustainability.
I provide a confidential, evidence-based partnership that bridges the gap between high-level strategy and practical school leadership. Whether through individual executive coaching or school-wide wellbeing frameworks, my approach builds the internal capacity required for long-term systemic resilience.
Utilizing the Growth Coaching International (GCI) facilitative framework, I partner with leaders to develop sustainable, self-directed solutions.
I provide professional development grounded in trauma-aware frameworks to protect your school’s most valuable asset: its people. My delivery shifts the focus from individual "self-care" to systemic protection, addressing the neurobiology of Secondary Traumatic Stress and the Cost of Caring.
At the heart of every educational decision are two non-negotiables: student wellbeing and student learning. However, twenty years in the sector has taught me a hard truth—we cannot support our students if we are failing to function ourselves.
"I partner with leaders to bridge the gap between high-level systemic strategy and the neurobiology of staff wellbeing in isolated contexts."
My practice is built on the "ground truth" of regional and remote education. Having served as a Guidance Officer in a remote P-12 school managing a cluster of primary sites, I lived the reality of service isolation. I know what it’s like to be the primary support for staff and students when there are no external services to call upon.
In my subsequent leadership as a Regional Manager and Director, and now in my current Statewide role, I have navigated the distinct weight of systemic responsibility. I understand that at the executive level, every word is considered and every decision potentially impacts thousands of staff. My specialty lies in managing that systemic scale while protecting the personal, human needs of the school communities at the end of the line.
